Rising Warriors (Ages 13+)

EMAIL COACH MIKE AT mikebrown.1976@yahoo.com

This class is designed to target boys and girls ages 13 and older who want to

challenge themselves on obstacles similar to those seen on American Ninja

Warrior focusing on building strength, agility and stamina. Classes will begin with

stretching and warm ups and then move on to include things such as running,

jumping, swinging, hanging, climbing, conditioning and balancing; all

incorporated into fun and challenging obstacles. We will work on how to conquer

individual obstacles as well as stringing several obstacles together in order to

increase the athletes speed, efficiency and ability to finish an entire course. The

classes may also include a mixture of various disciplines such as gymnastics

style tumbling, parkour and rock climbing in order to create a well balanced

warrior. This class will fit great for the athletes who aspire to some day become

an American Ninja Warrior or for those who just want to keep active and have fun

while staying in shape and challenging themselves.

A little bit about the instructor Mike Brown:

Mike earned a B.A. in Christian Education from BIOLA University in California.

that gymnastics background to get involved in soccer, baseball, wrestling, track &

field, mountain biking, surfing, snowboarding and just about any athletic sport he

could find. He spent over 7 years as a youth pastor and has been faithfully

involved in youth ministry since age 18. He has been a high school math

teacher, a Teaching Parent at Boys & Girls Country as well as a Tumbling

Director at Spring Creek Athletics. Mike has spent much of his free time training at Iron

as a lifestyle. He enjoys sharing his passion and experience with others to help

them grow in body, mind and spirit.
